Step 1 - Select your Prompts File

The first step in recording your speech for submission to VoxForge is to select the prompt file you want to use.  If this is your first time contributing, then click the dialect prompts link below.  If you have already contributed audio using a dialect prompt, then click the link to select a phoneme prompt.

1. Dialect Coverage Prompts - these are prompts designed to use words that highlight the way people from different geographic locations pronounce certain words differently.

2. Phoneme Coverage Prompts - these are prompts designed to provide good coverage of all the different phonemes in the English language.
