VoxForge
Hi Kevin,
I don't really know the use of SVN other than dowloading structurally the Trunk (svn checkout) . I mean I know what svn is for, don't know the backstage, just technical limitation. It would be great anyway to have a svn-enabled Trunk.
cheers and thank you.
Michele
Ps
not asking link to snv, to the book or tutorial, have lots of'em. :)
Hi Michele,
>It would be great anyway to have a svn-enabled Trunk.
We have an SVN enabled trunk, however Subversion is on the same server as the VoxForge website and downloading gigabytes of speech audio kills response time on the server... that is why all the audio is replicated on the VoxForge repository server:
http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/it/Trunk/Audio/
You should be able to configure wget to only download what has changed since the last time you downloaded the audio, and there are no bandwidth limits on the voxforge1.org server.
