VoxForge
Hi guys,
So long, Mauricio from Chile here...
I'm trying to find some time to take again my work on the spanish
support for voice recognition, so I was going to get the lasted
resources, etc and html and svn access keep asking me for a usarname and
passwd :-S
, trying to use my login/passwd don't work
http://www.dev.voxforge.org/svn/es/Trunk/
do I miss something?
Thanks
Mauricio (buhochileno)
Hi Mauricio,
>trying to use my login/passwd don't work
I removed public access to the Subversion repositories because too many users were downloading everything at once and causing a performance hit on the VoxForge website.
Since all the audio data is replicated on voxforge1.org on a hoster with no bandwidth limitations, I figured that should be OK for most users.
I've sent you a password to get access to Spanish SVN repository,
thanks,
Ken
hi,
Sorry, It could be my fault. I have a blog (http://ubanov.wordpress.com/2008/11/28/reconocimiento-de-voz-en-castellano/), and in my blog I recomend to download the SVN. I have about 20-30hits per day, then it could generate a lot of traffic, sorry.
May be a better solution to have the programs without the wav files in any other place....
Regards

I don't think so...

more likely that web crawlers were trying to download everything...

http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/es/Trunk/Audio/
I've tried two different svn clients to checkout this repo with no luck, throwing a "redirect cycle detected" error.
Edit:
Redirecting to URL 'http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/es/Trunk':
Redirecting to URL 'http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/es/Trunk':
svn: E195019: Redirect cycle detected for URL 'http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/es/Trunk'
Anyways the repo on voxforge1 does not have the same folder structure that the dev.voxforge.org repo had in 2008, as I am following the blog post on this page.
Can you provide us with a public username/password so we can download it from dev.voxforge.org repo? It won't be fetched by spiders/crawlers if its password protected anyway.
Thanks,
> so we can download it from dev.voxforge.org repo?
http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/es/Trunk/Audio/ is not an svn repository...
I've got scripts that copy all the audio files in the dev.voxforge.org svn repos and upload them on voxforge1.org - use something like 'wget' to download the speech audio files you need.
I had to remove public access from the dev.voxforge.org repos because I don't have the bandwidth to allow multiple downloads. There are no bandwitdth limits on voxforge1.org.
