VoxForge
Hi Ken, nsh:
I kind of confuse about julius and sphinx may be you can help me to clarify some things:
- both are separated speech recognition engines right?
- nsh: you help me to use sphinx in spanish, seems that you use a spanish lenguage model from Dr. nolazco right?
- if previous is "yes": with that model you sendme a "voxforge-es" folder with some files inside (you just ask me for a gvc phrases traslation with phonemes in spanish), what kind of tools do you use to generate in just a easy fast way the voxforge files to be used by sphinx?
- if you have some tools for that: can be used to create/expand gnome-voice-control grammar and train sphinx/julius to recognize the new grammar?
- julius and sphinx can use the same lenguage models?
- the new sphinx/pocketsphinx version + gnome-voice-control are able to move mouse, etc? problems about gnome accesibility are solved? or is a gnome problem?
thanks in advance...
Mauricio

Yes, they are different in implementation details. Algorithms are the same.

Ye

Sorry, what tools do I use to generate what?

Again, what "new" grammar" are you talking about. gvc works with predefined grammar it extracts from user interface, what you see is what you can manage.

no

yes, the problems were solved already.
