Hi

Under windows XP i have successfully tested the HVIte(live) to automatically detect the silence after the word spoken word, and then end the recording session prininting the detected word to the command prompt. This is easy achieved by specifiying the following commands in the config file

USESILDET = T
MEASURESIL = F
OUTSILWARN = T
SILENERGY = 55.0

However when i try the same in linux it doens't work. The HVite just stays at READT[] > and nothin happens! does anyone no a way to correct this problem?

Have you checked the HTK email archives?

(note: you need to be registered with HTK to access these)
