Sorry for not responding sooner. I started a few times but never posted anything. I am afraid, I just don't know enough about the model adaption / generation process to really take up the discussion - yet :).

I'm on a firm deadline at the moment so I really don't have much time to play with this but once the current version is a bit stabelized and I have a bit of time, I will defenitely get back on that.

Thank you very, very much for pointing me in the right direction which makes the process just so much easier.

I will have a look at the archive you provided and try to improve the simon algorithm as much as possible.

Could you recommend any good guides / howtos / tutorials / articles that talk about the process?

Also: Is the apparently missing normalization of Julius a bug, a missing feature or is this the way it is supposed to be? In case of the latter two, is there a way to work around the issue (static normalisation or something)?
