I had this problem when running the script:

no .dfa or .dict file generated

So, I read through the messages below and found that it was saved using the normal windows format. To convert it to unix with notepad++, I went to Edit -> EOL Conversion and then chose "Unix format" and saved. It worked a treat after that.
