VoxForge
Hi,
In the last two weeks I participated for the french corpus. I'm not able to see my contribution. Before going on, I would like to make sure that there no issue anywhere.
I looked at http://www.repository.voxforge1.org/downloads/fr/Trunk/Audio/Original/48kHz_16bit/?C=M;O=D and I cannot see any record from "philippea"
Could you please advise ?
Cheers
Philippe

I see them here:
voxforge1.org/public/speechsubmissions/FR-philippea-20131125-xhp.zip
voxforge1.org/public/speechsubmissions/FR-philippea-20131125-gvn.zip
voxforge1.org/public/speechsubmissions/FR-philippea-20131125-egw.zip
Please note that each submission must be reviewed. The process is semi-automated. There is a backlog - which I will clear up in a couple of weeks.
thanks,
Ken
Hi,
Thanks for your quick answer. Has long as the the submission are not lost, I'm fine. I can understand that it takes time if the process is not automatic.
Is there something I can do to help you other than submitting more speech ?
Hi,
I would have loved to continue to contribute to this project, but it seems that nothing happen. I do understand it takes time for you and I really want to thank all the people involved.
However, I have contributed back in November and still not able to see my contribution. This really blocks me continuing to participate.
I have also proposed my help, if possible, to help with backlog without answer.
I will continue to look at this project and will participate if I see progress or if I get info on how to help, but to be honest, I do not see any benefits in recording audio for the moment as there is no outcome of such recording
Strangely enough, I began contributing for the french model in January 2014 and I can see my contribution in the downloads page. (I have not checked the uploads folder)
As it is semi-automatic, maybe there is a problem with your micro like too much ambient noise or not loud enough or, on the opposite, too loud.
anyways, good luck for, maybe, next time
